Advent 2019 Begins Sunday, December 1. Here are some events to plan for.
Advent Happenings
Sunday, December 1, First Sunday of Advent There will be an Advent wreath activity between services. Our Hanging of the Greens service will be at 5:30 pm in the Sanctuary.
Sunday, December 8, Second Sunday of Advent There will be a Christmas card activity between services. The Harp Fusion concert will be at 11 am and 3 pm in the Sanctuary.
Sunday, December 15, Third Sunday of Advent There will be an ornament activity between services. And, the Sonoran Bells will be performing at 3:30 pm in the Sanctuary.
Sunday, December 22, Fourth Sunday of Advent There will be just one service, at 10 am. During the service, we will be recognizing our winter friends. After the service, there will be caroling at Fellowship Square.
Tuesday, December 24, Christmas Eve There will be services at 11 am (Traditional), 4 pm (Nativity Service), 6 pm (Contemporary) and 11 pm (Communion). These will all be candlelight services. There will also be a Christmas Eve potluck at noon.
