St. Paul’s Looking for Acolytes

Children and youth often serve as acolytes in The United Methodist Church. They may carry in the light of Christ, the processional cross, banners or Bible.

St. Paul’s is looking for children 1st grade and older to serve as acolytes during the 9:30 am Sunday worship services. Children will attend a short training session in August.

Serving as an acolyte is one of the first opportunities for children to have an official way to serve in the church. Children and youth often serve as acolytes in The United Methodist Church. They may carry in the light of Christ, the processional cross, banners or Bible. It is a very special role here at St. Paul’s. To learn more, visit AskUMC.
