Lead Courageously
Today is the fourth Sunday of Easter. We conclude our three week worship series in which we reflect on the three key themes of the new vision of The United Methodist Church: Loving Boldly, Serving Joyfully, Leading Courageously.
When we “lead courageously”, we follow Jesus’ example by resisting and dismantling all systems of evil, injustice, and oppression, striving for peace, justice and reconciliation. God is our strength and our shield, our guide through seasons of uncertainty. He promises never to leave us nor forsake us, and in that promise, we find courage.
Rev. Ron Bartlow’s sermon is “Lead Courageously” with scripture from Joshua 1:5-9 and Ephesians 6:10-18.
