Today, Rev. Ron Bartlow concludes our lectionary based series, "Questions Along the Way". This week's sermon, "What Will We Have?", is based on Matthew 19:16 – 20:16 which includes the parable of the vineyard workers. This parable is good news if we focus on the nature of God, who is generous; and can be troubling when we only think in terms of ourselves, what will we have at the end of the day? We will have what God gives, and ultimately that is all gift. We're challenged by the sense of generosity at play in this parable; we want equity, fairness. God is about generosity, grace.
