Today, Rev. Ron Bartlow continues with our lectionary based series, "Questions Along the Way". This week's sermon, "Can We Agree?", is based on Matthew 18:15-20 (dealing with conflict) and 1 Corinthians 1:9-17. Jesus doesn't ask the question, "Can we agree?" Instead, it might be implied for a modern audience or congregation hearing Jesus' instructions on how to lovingly confront those who sin against us. Jesus shares that if we can agree, God will be at work. Perhaps it is that God is at work, and when we can agree, when we can look past differences and conflicts, we can see God's activity.
