Community Food Bank and Food Pantry

St. Paul’s offers a food pantry, open Monday through Friday, from 9 am to 11:30 am. We are a community partner of the Community Food Bank of Southern Arizona. Please call us at 520-296-1927 if you need more help. You can also find other food pantries at foodpantries.org.

John Dean Town

St. Paul’s United Methodist Church has had a long-standing relationship with John Dean’s Town in Liberia Africa. Continuing contributions help to support the school and medical clinic.

Jim Calfee Africa Project

The Jim Calfee Africa Project is dedicated to working with the citizens of Kijabe, Kenya, and surrounding areas, towards promoting and sustaining the welfare and education of the children so that they will possess the tools to lead their communities forward in a growth producing manner.

Packathon

The St. Paul’s Packathon is an annual event to pack meals for the needy in Tucson. It is a fun and rewarding activity for everybody involved. Be a part of serving our community and ministering to those in need.

Holiday Revue Come join us for a festive celebration filled with music and laughter. Get ready to be entertained by talented performers and immerse yourself in the holiday spirit. Performers include musical groups from St. Paul’s UMC, Julliard trained Harpist Christina Vivona, National chart-topping smooth jazz artist Neamen Lyles, the Nationally Renowned vocalists of In the Christmas Mood, and a New Orleans style brass band The Rezonators.
children's blocks Image by bethL from Pixabay Gretta Moffat School Annual Report Mr. Jerry Giah, principal of the Gretta Moffat School, has shared the school’s annual report with us. St. Paul’s UMC has long supported this mission endeavor, named after a church member. In the report, Jerry shares the number of students (136) and that our congregation generously provides the salaries of the entire staff. The report also shares some ongoing needs for the ministry, including the building of a dormitory and the pursuit of solar power.
Sky Freedom Happiness Image by Daniel Reche Looking Inward, Living Outward (Worship Series) Based on Daniel Wolpert’s book of the same name, during the month of September our worship series Looking Inward, Living Outward will draw from the wisdom of the sermon on the mount to inspire us to live after Jesus’ example. Each week we will consider practices of faith rooted in Jesus’ teaching, and how those practices lead us to live in such a way that the world around usmight be transformed for the better.
