St. Paul’s UMC will hold a Shot Clinic on Sunday, September 22, 2024, 8:45 am to 12:15 pm in Brummet Hall. The Alvernon at 22nd Street Walgreens will send staff to provide the following shots for those who need and want them. Depending on your insurance, they may all be fully covered. Please bring your insurance card(s) and Medicare card (if you have one) that day.
The shots they are planning to give are the following:
- Influenza – Standard Injectable Trivalent – children 3 and older
- Influenza Trivalent – High Dose (age 65 and older)
- Prevnar 20 – Pneumonia – eligible for age 65 years and older if you have never received Prevnar 20 prior. Below 65 years you are eligible if you have certain respiratory/heart conditions, or are diabetic.
- Herpes Zoster (Shingrix)
- RSV (for older adults)
- COVID 19, latest version (12 years and older)
