Ash Wednesday

The Christian Season of Lent – a period intended to help us center our hearts and lives on God’s holiness – begins with Ash Wednesday, falling on February 18, 2026. We will have a special service commemorating Ash Wednesday at 12:00 noon. In addition, Christ Church United Methodist will have an evening service that day at 6:00 pm. You are welcome to either or both services as we begin this season.

Lenten Small Group Study

Gather with other St. Paul’s UMC members for a small group Lenten study beginning Thursday, February 19! We will be reading and discussing Rev. Adam Hamilton’s newest book – “Why Did Jesus Have to Die? The Meaning of the Crucifixion” – on Thursday evenings at 7:00 pm in the Shalom Room of the Billy and Ann Still Life Center. The book gives insight into some of the multiple interpretations of the theology of Christ’s death, or “atonement.”
