Christmas just isn’t complete without Advent activities, caroling, and church services. With that in mind, we have a variety of options for you for this Advent and Christmas season.
Advent Activities
Join us in Brummet Hall for Advent activities, coffee, and goodies beginning Sunday, November 27 and going through Sunday, December 18, 8:45 to 11:00 am. Invite your family and friends to join us during this Advent season to enjoy a time of fellowship.
- November 27 – make an Advent wreath
- December 4 – decorate and write Christmas cards to our church members
- December 11 – make Christmas ornaments
Christmas Caroling
Join us on Sunday afternoon, December 18 pm. We will walk across the street together to Fellowship Square and sing Christmas carols to their residents. Meet at 3:45 pm in front of the Billy and Ann Still Life Center or meet us at 4:00 pm in front of the gate for Villa IV at 250 N. Maguire Ave. If you are a resident of Fellowship Square, come down to the grassy area of Villa IV at 4:00 pm and join us in caroling!
Traditional Christmas Eve Service, 11 am
For those who do not want to travel that evening, we invite you to join us at 11:00 am for an in-person traditional worship service. Featuring our Early Bird Choir, this service will be based around the service of lessons and carols. Service will be followed by a soup luncheon for any and all who want to gather together for lunch and fellowship.
Contemporary Christmas Eve Service, 5 pm
Featuring our contemporary worship band, Grace Multiplied, this will be a high energy, family-friendly service telling the Christmas story and ending with the longstanding tradition of singing Silent Night by candlelight.
Traditional Christmas Eve Service, 9 pm
Featuring our Sanctuary Singers, this service will be a meaningful, quieter service blending tradition and novelty, also ending with a candlelit rendition of Silent Night.
Christmas Day Service, 10 am
On Sunday, December 25, we will have one combined service. You are invited to come dressed as you wish, be that pajamas or a seven-piece suit, to joyfully sing and celebrate with your church family.
