Serve Joyfully
Today is the third Sunday of Easter. We continue our three week worship series in which we reflect on the three key themes of the new vision of The United Methodist Church: Loving Boldly, Serving Joyfully, Leading Courageously.
We ‘serve joyfully’ with a Christ-like heart, journeying alongside the most vulnerable, offering care and compassion with joy. God calls us to serve with glad hearts, to offer what we have with joy, and to love one another deeply, because love covers a multitude of sins. And whatever we do – whether in word or in service – we do as those entrusted with God’s gifts, so that God may be glorified in all things.
Rev. Ron Bartlow’s sermon is “Serve Joyfully” with scripture from Nehemiah 8:5-10, Psalm 100:1-5, John 13:14-15, and 1 Peter 4:8-11.
