Living Together on Uncommon Ground (Respect)
Today we continue our five week sermon series based on Do Unto Others, a grassroots movement launched by Resurrection, a United Methodist Church in the Kansas City area. More than 99% of our DNA is the same from one human to another; this surely makes us kin. We continue this series yearning to recognize our family connection as children of God.
Through Paul, God encourages us to have no division, but to have equal concern – and therefore respect – for each other. If person suffers, every person suffers with them. If one person is honored, everyone rejoices with them. Rev. Ron Bartlow gives the sermon “Living Together on Uncommon Ground (Respect)” drawing from 1 Corinthians 12:1-26.
