Are you interested in learning more about our US/Mexico border and real life issues that are occurring there? Do you want to cut through the noise of opinionated journalists and pundits and learn for yourself? The Border Community Alliance runs regular tours for church groups, and there are currently (as of March 5) some openings for a Cross Border Tour in Nogales,Sonora, Mexico hosted by Green Valley United Methodist Church. The tour is Monday, March 25, 2024, from 8:30 am to 5:30 pm. Your cost to go is $50.
Educational and inspirational, these tours provide an orientation to the rising, nonprofit, economic and civil sector of Nogales, Sonora, Mexico led by both Mexican & US guides. Lunch & snack included. Transportation in Mexico is by van; only minimal walking is required.
