12 night Cruise & Land Tour (July, 2027)
Experience both the community of others and the majesty of God’s creation in the mountains, waters, and lands of Alaska on this scenic land and cruise tour, next July, 2027. See and learn about the people, culture, places, and wildlife that make Alaska one of the world’s most popular tourist destinations. Enjoy time with fellow travelers from other local United Methodist Churches on this journey into the rugged beauty of Alaska by bus, train, and cruise ship!
Open to any who wish to join us, the pricing for this trip through Educational Opportunities (including bus/train transportation in Alaska and cruise accommodations, assuming double accommodation) is as follows:
- Interior Stateroom w/ Virtual Balcony: $3,498/ea
- Ocean View Stateroom: $3,698/ea
- Balcony Stateroom: $3,798/ea
This is a twelve night land and sea adventure! The itinerary is:
- July 11 – Arrive in Anchorage, meet our local Adventure Specialist, settle in to the hotel, and explore the town.
- July 12 – Journey by Rail from Anchorage to Talkeetna, gateway to Denali.
- July 13 – Explore Talkeetna and then travel to Denali National Park.
- July 14 – Explore more deeply into Denali National Park.
- July 15 – Adventure by bus from Denali through Anchorage to Alyeska.
- July 16 – Transition to the port of Seward to board Royal Carribean’s cruise-ship Anthem of the Seas.
- July 17 – Hubbard Glacier Crossing.
- July 18 – Juneau.
- July 19 – Skagway.
- July 20 – Icy Strait Point.
- July 21 – Ketchikan.
- July 22 – Day at Sea.
- July 23 – Depart for home from Vancouver, British Columbia.
